Telling Wonders

How do you tell a Wonder?

Click on your profile photo and enter the green quadrant Your Wonders. Click on "Get Started." You will find a guided tour, consisting of simple questions and divided into sections. To move from one section to another, click on the "Next" button; to move back, click on the item that interests you in the menu on the left. The first section contains the required fields (marked with an asterisk). When you get to the last section, you can also enter your own personal comment.

Click "Submit" to send your Wonder to SharryLand. If you're not ready to Submit, you can keep the work you've done in draft and finish it later: in the upper left corner you will find the "Save and Exit" option. NB: After submission you will no longer be able to edit the texts: if you need to contact the Editorial Office.

How do you report a Flash Wonder?

Click on your profile photo and enter Your Wonders. Click on "Get Started." You will find a guided tour, divided into sections. To report a Flash Wonder, simply complete the information in the first section, upload photos, and click the "Submit Now" button. The Flash Wonder will then be checked by the editorial staff before being published.

Any writing tips?

  • To get an idea of how to tell, explore the Wonders already published.
  • Choose to tell about a special place you know well, so you can give accurate, tasty, and useful news.
  • Use your own words and don't copy from the web.
  • When you write, remember that the goal is to create curiosity, to make people fall in love, to entice them to take a trip to discover this special place.
  • Before you start, check if there is already a full page of the place you want to tell about. If so, you can still share your photos or give a different slant to your story.

I sent a Wonder. Now what?

Wonders and Flash Wonders, once submitted, are visible only to you the author and the SharryLand Editorial Staff. The contents will be checked by the Editorial Staff and, if deemed suitable, published. If necessary, they will be supplemented, edited, enriched, to create as complete and engaging a narrative as possible. All content not in line with the purpose of the platform (leisure and vacation), or with inappropriate or vulgar information will be rejected.

Problems and solutions
