Choose your personal color palette, we'll take care of the rest. Tuscia stands for the Viterbese and generally the Upper Lazio region. The term derives from Latin Tuscia (pronounced tuskia), the territory inhabited by the Tusci, or Etruscans, plural of Latin tuscus, a contraction of etruscus. From Tuscia, synonymous with Etruria, derive the name of the region of Tuscany and the name of the municipality of Tuscania in the province of Viterbo. In contemporary usage the name Tuscia is also used to refer to the territories of upper Lazio and the bordering areas of Tuscany and Umbria, an area splendid in nature and gastronomy, which has its center in Acquapendente, a village located near numerous small waterfalls that flow into the Paglia River. It is precisely from Acquapendente that all five itineraries will start to discover places, monuments, local businesses, roads and gastronomy: the five excellences of the area. Our itineraries for small groups maximum 14 people starting from Acquapendente and on request pick up from Orvieto station.
