Tiber Carnival

Masquerade Carnival with a parade of participants along the banks of the Tiber from Scalo de Pinedo to Castel Sant'Angelo. The event, of a recreational-sporting nature, aims to promote, while having fun, the territory of the Tiber basin in Rome, bringing the community of citizens closer to the river. The initiative also aims to encourage the participation of citizens in a healthy activity of psycho-physical well-being in the open air and emphasize the importance of the quality of the river environment and its waters, even in urban areas. In the water: the in-water event is accompanied by qualified river descent guides. The stretch is about 6 km long and a maximum of 40 boats are planned, with life jackets required. For organizational and insurance reasons, registration is required for those going down to the water at Scalo de Pinedo. On land: the walking tour along the banks is accompanied and suitable for families, is 3 km long and includes the presence of entertainers.
