The really surprising feature of Predoi's pure air is that it is not on the mountain, but within it. The climate center is located in an old mining tunnel that is now disused and part of the Provincial Mining Museum. What makes the Climate Center in Predoi special is the particularly high humidity and the constantly low temperature, around 9 degrees. Under these conditions, dust and allergens cannot spread into the environment, helping the respiratory tract stay clean and relaxed.
