A scenic route among chestnut groves and curious "mushrooms"
The Asso-Rezzago loop is a hiking trail that touches some really characteristic points of interest in the Larian Triangle, such as the Rezzago Mushrooms and its chestnut grove.
What are earth mushrooms?
"Earth Mushrooms" are curious and ephemeral natural earthen architectures. Scientifically called "Erosion Pyramids," these are natural monuments that look like mushrooms that are eroded over time by weathering, until the earth "stem" can no longer support the boulder, it falls and the "mushroom" turns into a "cone," gradually then destroyed by rain and wind. All while new mushrooms begin to form in a continuous cycle of becoming.
