Description
One of the typical products of Le Marche and in particular Montefeltro is sour cherry wine. The product is made by fermenting sour cherries with sugar. The ingredients are placed inside closed containers for fermentation at a controlled temperature. Next, wine from the previous year is added. The resulting mixture is left to rest for at least four years before bottling. Sour cherry wine is consistent, deep ruby red in color, with a very intense aroma of sour cherries under spirits.
