Owl Tournament

EVENT DESCRIPTION In the homeland of the painter Luca Signorelli, the Compagnia Arcieri di Cortona presents a very exciting event. A Tournament in typical medieval costume where, the best archers from all over Italy will compete with bows and crossbows until the last arrow to decree the winner, this Tournament is part of the circuit of the Medieval Archery League and is sponsored by the Municipality of Cortona. During the day you can watch the Historical Costume Parade, the Flag-wavers' show and other side events, not forgetting to taste the typical Tuscan culinary specialties.
