Historical Parade of the Three Kings

On Epiphany Day this traditional historical parade of the Wise Men on horseback takes place, and as every year the whole community is involved in the laborious work of preparation and staging. The 300 or so participants wear period costumes made by local seamstresses and play biblical characters in the most significant stages of the story of Salvation: from original sin to the liberation of the Jewish people from slavery, all the way to the birth of Jesus. It all ends with the arrival of the Magi who bring gifts to the baby boy.
