Cupramontana Grape Festival

The Cupramontana Grape Festival is much more than a festival, it is an all-around festival. It was created to celebrate the grape harvest and traditions, in a land abundant with vineyards planted mainly with Verdicchio, and attracts thousands of people every year. The four-day calendar is rich and varied, ranging from musical entertainment with famous groups and cover bands, to traditional dances and songs in Marche folkloric costumes, to the Palio della Pigiatura (Palio of the Crushing) with an award ceremony, to the marvelous Allegorical floats in honor of the Golden Bunch of Verdicchio, and to conclude the unfailing fireworks display.
