Ravello Festival

The highlight of this edition, as every year, is the dawn concert to be held at sunrise on Aug. 11 with Erina Yashima conducting, making her Ravello debut. In addition to the symphonic events there will be two jazz dates: the first on July 17 with the voices of international stars Dee Dee Bridgewater and Tony Momrelle joined by the Salerno voice of Walter Ricci accompanied by instrumentalists from the Salerno Jazz Orchestra. The second headed by another absolute star: Wynton Marsalis, who will be on stage with Stefano Di Battista, Dado Moroni, Carlos Henriquez and Francesco Ciniglio, for an unmissable concert for all lovers of jazz music and beyond on July 24. Rounding out the program are five chamber music events with the ensembles of the Cherubini Orchestra to be held July 28-30 between Villa Rufolo and the churches of San Giovanni del Toro and Santa Maria a Gradillo, and a recital by one of the greatest pianists working today, Daniil Trifonov on August 24.
