XXXX St. Sebastian's Bonfire Palio

In honor of St. Sebastian, the Borgo of Accadia celebrates, every year, a ritual that has its roots in rural and religious culture. The Festival begins in the afternoon with a Solemn Mass, followed by the procession with the simulacrum of the Saint through the streets of the Borgo and continues with the blessing of the Bonfires, then the Mayor starts the Palio. A phantasmagorical Fireworks display lights up the sky with a thousand colors and immediately after the excitement of the lighting of all the Bonfires of the Districts that will compete to win the prize for the best Bonfire, for construction, for customs and traditions for tradition and hospitality. Throughout the night, Dances, Traditional Dances, Folk Music , Local Wines, Typical Dishes, Tastings, Sweets and much more of the local culinary heritage, will welcome the visitor involving him in a unique and exciting experience.
