Cherry Blossom March

Organized by the very lively Pro Loco of Colceresa, an Easter Monday March that has become over the years a must-attend annual event for all neighboring communities. Colceresa, as its name implies, is the union of the small municipalities of the so-called "cherry hills." In fact, cherries are the specialty of the area, and the March salutes the cherry trees that are covered in blossoms at this time of year. The route is also suitable for the less slack since there is a choice of different mileages, as per tradition: 6, 12 or 20 km to be done on foot or running, at a brisk pace or stopping often to take in the beauty of the place. Several refreshments are set up along the route, and at the finish line you can also choose to continue the celebration with an Easter lunch prepared by volunteers. The cost for participation is 3 euros.
