The Fontaneto D'Agogna Blonde Onion Fair

Every year on the third weekend of September, Fontaneto hosts a fair dedicated to a product of excellence from the area and Slow Food Presidium, the Cureggio and Fontaneto Blonde Onion. Food stands dedicated to the event's star product are set up in the center of the municipality of Fontaneto d'Agogna. Onion soup, battered onions, bean salad with the blond onion and agnolotti are just some of the traditional dishes offered during the fair. There is no shortage of other traditional dishes, craft beers, wines from the Novara Hills and a rich farmers' market with local producers.
