The Infiorata of Noto

Considered one of the most beautiful Sicilian events, the Infiorata of Noto is held every third week of May. Every year, Via Corrado Nicolaci is filled with beautiful colorful mosaics created with flower petals by master florists. The event begins on Friday, when the artists start by making the silhouettes of the designs, and then create the floral works in the early afternoon on Saturday. The competition and awards ceremony are held on Sunday. Musical performances, traditional dances and exhibitions frame the event.
