Ode to the Novello, Mignano Monte Lungo

The Pro Loco association "Insieme per Mignano" presents "Inno al Novello," the festival dedicated to new wine. The stands will be set up inside the medieval village "Località Cicuta" and will offer local products with ancient flavors, accompanied by good wine offered by local wineries. Chickpeas with porcini mushrooms, pasta and beans, pork rinds and beans, spiced mutton, bruschetta with olive oil, sausages and broccoli casserole, fried pizzas, omelets, roasted chestnuts and grandmothers' sweets will be offered during the tastings. The culinary part will be enlivened by singing and dancing to the sounds of accordions and small organs traveling within the alleys of the village. Suggestive is the big bonfire, where a large number of people usually gather to warm themselves, chat, laugh and joke.
