In a nutshell
It is a historical retelling of the past of this enchanting place at the most significant time of the year, when local residents would go to the Mill to celebrate the new corn harvest.
They would prepare the donkey with panniers laden with "biava" and go to the Mill to get the first flour of the harvest and consequently the " poenta nova." The Oste opened the festivities with copious amounts of new wine, and for the inhabitants the gathering in the square was also a way to exchange small objects, services and skills, but mainly to party! With dances, songs and traditional games. For this event, the Molinetto della Croda is faithfully "dressed" as it was in the early 1900s, and inside are reproduced furnishings and tools of the past (sometimes original). The Figurantes with their traditional costumes and their representations of ancient crafts evoke a time gone by... not to be forgotten. There will be no shortage of culinary offerings with traditional ancient dishes, to discover flavors of the past.
