The Crastatone

In Mount Amiata, the chestnut is the queen of autumn, and this festival pays homage to the end of the harvest and conviviality. For the duration of the event, in the four districts of Piancastagnaio, wine cellars and taverns will be open, where you can enjoy typical dishes and dishes prepared with chestnuts, all accompanied by excellent red wine. And in the alleys, streets and squares many craft stalls, music, dancing and folklore for everyone.
