Sounds of the Dolomites

🏔️ Suoni delle Dolomiti (The Sounds of the Dolomites) is a music festival in nature: the concerts are held high up in the Dolomites of Trentino, amidst rocks and pastures, spires and mountain lakes. This festival seeks to respectfully combine artistic aspects with natural ones, with the intention of raising the awareness of a wider audience, attentive to what our mountains can already express. 🎼 The festival brings together under the same programme concerts that embrace different musical genres, from jazz to classical music, passing through world music, welcoming a few singer-songwriters and not forgetting a few forays into pop. Thanks to some special projects, we have brought readings, theatre and even opera to high altitudes. 🌞 Most concerts take place at 12 noon, a special date is held at dawn, at 6.30am. The concerts are free of charge except for the special trekking project: a 3-day package with a limited number of participants in which musicians and participants share the daily trek and the intimate and exclusive concerts. 🤗 Some dates in the programme (30/08, 08/09, 17/09, 19/09) are organised to accommodate audiences with motor and sensory disabilities. People with hearing disabilities will also be able to participate in these concerts thanks to the use of Subpacs, innovative audio-tactile instruments that can be worn like backpacks and that vibrate to the rhythm of the music, enabling sound perception.
