The Honey Days

On the first weekend of October, an important fair dedicated to beekeeping and honey has been held - for more than 30 years - in the municipality of Lazise del Garda. Bees play a fundamental role in food production and in our ecosystem, and in the Veronese municipality this is well understood, so much so that it was decided to dedicate a major international event to them. An extensive exhibition of honeys, honey derivatives - such as propolis, royal jelly, wax and pollen - and beekeeping materials and equipment is organized during the "I Giorni del Miele" fair. Associations are also present, and lectures and workshops are held to raise awareness and provide in-depth information about this wonderful industry.
