In a nutshell
In the marvelous spaces of the Ducal Palace in Urbino, which is also the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, a monographic exhibition on Federico Barocci, the illustrious Urbino master who lived at the turn of two centuries, the 1500s and 1600s. The thematic exhibition traces the painter's beginnings, great altarpieces, preparatory sketches and sketches, cartoons and engravings as well as the master's last works.
There will also be an opportunity to visit other sites containing Barocci's works, such as the cathedral of the Duomo, the Oratorio della Morte, and the Church of San Francesco. More than 76 loans from Italy and abroad, many considering that he was a painter who moved very little from Urbino.
