Nemolese Carnival and Polenta Festival.

A 'unique and engaging experience, in addition to the parade of floats, traditional masks and the magic of colors that carnival offers, in Nemoli on Shrove Tuesday is celebrated with Polenta, and everyone can enjoy this typical Lucanian dish for free. The master polentari prepare it in four huge cauldrons and then it is cut as in the past, with string and "seasoned" with a delicious and inimitable ragout. In the evening the festivities end with the Carnival Puppet Bonfire.
