Carnival of Frascati

In beautiful Frascati on the Castelli Romani, Carnival is the festival of the year, the Carnival King "King Pupone" who arrives in a carriage, is given the keys to the city by the mayor and from that day until Shrove Tuesday with the final bonfire and fireworks display, it will be a succession of events: Parades of Allegorical Floats, Best Mask Awards, Street Parties, Concerts, Games, all seasoned with food stands, the famous castles wine and lots and lots of merriment.
