Where is
We have always loved to enchant our guests by telling them about the endless wonders of Le Marche and our amazing province, Pesaro Urbino. But in front of such a richly set table, we often catch our guests' hesitation: where do I start? And how do I continue? What do I risk missing?
And so the idea was born: to create a small guide to the wonders scattered throughout the territory of the province, an Itinerary of Beauty, to help our guests plan their trip with a good heart, knowing that they have not forgotten anything.
Thirteen municipalities have joined the initiative, some better known, others a little less so, but just as surprising: Cagli, Colli al Metauro, Fano, Fossombrone, Gradara, Gabicce Mare, Mondavio, Pergola, Pesaro, Sassocorvaro Auditore, Tavullia, Terre Roveresche, and Urbino.
With them we decided not to create a route in stages, with a clearly delineated beginning and end, but to gather a series of suggestions and insights, which will lead you to discover the hills of the Marche, gentle and sloping towards the sea, historic villages, breathtaking views...
In short, we have selected what we consider to be the shining gems of our Province, to leave you free to choose which of the uniqueness of the area to explore from time to time: the history of a glorious and warlike past, immortalized in the fortresses and fortified villages; the masterpieces of art preserved in the museums and churches; nature to be discovered slowly; the flavors, traditions, and historical re-enactments that between June and September color the streets and alleys of villages and towns, and much more.
